In the past I've seen various ways of checking the current number of online players, but all that I've seen have a fatal flaw. Depending on how the server was turned off (or more specifically, if it crashes) the player count gets messed up. Here's the one I'm talking about:
* {( Z4 t9 u" P- O( `/ k* eCode:
# S$ ^( o2 n) e2 t3 l7 U, h ]$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [ACCOUNT_DBF].dbo.[ACCOUNT_TBL] WHERE isuse='J'");
" b3 {& i1 p7 A' ]echo mssql_num_rows($mssql);Here's a more proper code, which will automatically reset the current online count whenever the world server program is opened:( E7 r$ ^% V5 z7 k( l6 _
Code:% l( x3 ~( n1 ?4 o
$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [CHARACTER_01_DBF].dbo.[CHARACTER_TBL] WHERE MultiServer='1'");( N9 `" c) `; n0 U Z
echo mssql_num_rows($mssql);1 G1 p/ i2 j: b; U1 W
* s" F6 b7 e) ^. U
