In the past I've seen various ways of checking the current number of online players, but all that I've seen have a fatal flaw. Depending on how the server was turned off (or more specifically, if it crashes) the player count gets messed up. Here's the one I'm talking about:
# @6 @; S6 G* U' KCode:9 p! R+ p0 K* l5 H5 G
$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [ACCOUNT_DBF].dbo.[ACCOUNT_TBL] WHERE isuse='J'");
+ L) [8 f8 @, y s. |4 @ v5 c: `echo mssql_num_rows($mssql);Here's a more proper code, which will automatically reset the current online count whenever the world server program is opened:
' u) A k) S! ]6 A' [$ PCode:: Y* {, Q/ K5 P% u. b# j
$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [CHARACTER_01_DBF].dbo.[CHARACTER_TBL] WHERE MultiServer='1'");
: D% M# F, x6 q* U$ Y# Becho mssql_num_rows($mssql);
; J V4 u0 l- c0 W/ i& U: d H
4 ~5 k8 w, i* r/ T* u% l |
